I have traded the currency and gold markets for more than ten years. I started ForexBob to share the trades I take, with the full plan behind each one: where I get in, where I'm wrong and where I take profit.

Alongside discretionary trading, I build and test automated trading systems, known as Expert Advisors (EAs), and indicators for MetaTrader 5 and TradingView, mostly on gold (XAU/USD) and the major currency pairs. That work shapes how ForexBob runs. An idea doesn't go to our members because it looks good on a chart. It has to hold up on data it wasn't designed on.

How we work

• Every signal has a stop loss. You know the most you can lose on a trade before you enter it.
• We test before we trust. Most strategy ideas we test, our own and popular indicators alike, don't survive realistic costs and out-of-sample data. We'd rather tell you that than sell you a system that only works in hindsight.
• Risk comes before returns. Our free calculators exist so you size each trade to your own account, not to ours.
• We explain, not just call. Members see why a trade is taken, so they learn to read the market themselves.

What we don't do

• We don't promise monthly returns or win rates. Nobody honestly can.
• We don't hold client money or manage funds in our own name. With copy trading, trades are placed on your own account at your broker, and only you can withdraw.
• We don't publish fake reviews. When we have real reviews from members, we'll show them here with their permission.
