ForexBob is operated by Sukhwinder Singh, a sole proprietor based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. In this disclaimer, "ForexBob", "we" and "us" mean that business.

High risk warning

Trading foreign exchange (forex), gold and contracts for difference (CFDs) on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for everyone. Leverage can work against you as well as for you. You can lose some or all of your deposit, and in some cases more than your deposit. Don't trade with money you can't afford to lose.

Before you trade, think carefully about your goals, your experience and how much risk you can take. If you're unsure, get advice from a qualified, independent financial adviser who is registered where you live.

They are not personalised investment advice, and they don't take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. ForexBob is a software developer, not a broker, dealer or adviser. We don't hold client money, manage trading accounts or have access to yours. You decide whether and how to trade, which EA and settings to use, which broker to choose and how much risk to take.

No guarantees

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Any examples, screenshots, backtests or results we show are for illustration. Backtests and simulated results have limits: they are produced with hindsight and don't reflect real fills, slippage, spreads or the pressure of trading live money.

An EA's results depend on your broker, spreads, execution, server time and settings, so they can differ from any backtest and from other users' results.

Expert Advisors and automated trading

Automated trading, including our AETHON Expert Advisors and any EA we build for you, can lose money. Software can fail, connections can drop and market conditions can change faster than any program can react. Test any EA on a demo account first. You remain responsible for your account and can stop an EA at any time.

A custom EA is built to the specification you approve. We code your rules; we don't assess whether your strategy is suitable for you or likely to be profitable.

Accuracy of information

We take care with what we publish, but prices, data and calculator results are provided "as is" and may contain errors or delays. Always check figures with your broker before you trade.

Third-party websites

Our site may link to websites and services we don't control, such as brokers, payment providers and Telegram. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices. A link is not an endorsement. If we ever use partner (affiliate) links, we will say so where the link appears.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ForexBob is not liable for any loss or damage, including loss of profits, that arises directly or indirectly from using our website, Expert Advisors, tools or services or relying on any information we provide. Some places don't allow certain limits on liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
